1.How long are sessions? Session length is between 60-90 minutes per client. We allow up to 90 minutes for learning and questions throughout the session.
2.Can I do a shorter session? Yes, but they are not beneficial nor will you progress as well as taking a full 60-90 minutes with us. However, we generally do not offer this option as it is the same price as a full session.
3.Can you just watch me and tell me if I am doing the movements correctly? No, you need to be a client and sign up. Odds are, if you have to ask if you are doing it correctly, you are not doing it correctly. This will then turn into you becoming a client for further guidance. So we do not offer consultation sessions/services just to see if you are performing the movement correctly.
4.Can you just give me tips then? Sure! They are all over our website, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. We do not give personalized advice to anyone.
5.Can I sign up for one month only? No, unfortunately we only offer a minimum of 3 months. This allows clients to learn something about their body and how to move it as well as start being consistent with a new routine.
6.Do you take cash or check? No, unfortunately we do not. Taking cash and checks makes our taxes exponentially more difficult. We use the STRIPE SYSTEM, and have for 8 years with no issues to report. Our system is very secure and payments come out monthly unless you've paid in full.
7.Can I do month to month? Yes, however this option is only available for online training.
8.Do I need to live in another state to be online? No, I have had many local clients do online for various reasons.
9.Can you work with my _______. More than likely yes. Over the years we have worked with many individuals who are battling something. From depression and anxiety to EDS, Autism/ADHD, to cancer patients who simply want to retain some strength through treatment. Odds are, we can work with you due to our resources and extensive background in physical therapy, CBT, nutrition, and coming from a family that deals with medical hinderances often (Like EDS, POTS, MCAS, ADHD).
10.Can you work with my child? YES! We hold certifications for educating and guiding children and teens through safe workouts. We love to teach children how to create amazing self-care routines as they age here. Here at Senshi Training we find it vitally important to learn self-care from a young age. Exercise can help your child study and retain their information better, expel excess energy, and learn good habits as they age.
11.What ages do you work with? We work with ages 12 and up.
12.Do you run/hold classes? No, not currently. Small, semi-private group sessions are available for you and your family/friends upon request.
13.Where do you train out of? We travel to you or you are welcome to train with us out of THE GYM (TG) off of Southern & Gilbert.
14.Do I need a gym or gym membership to train? Yes and no. We work with many individuals out of their homes as we have equipment to provide during sessions. If you are looking to train in TG with us then you will need a day pass or a membership. We suggest signing up for the membership as the day pass adds up quickly.
15.Do I need equipment of my own to workout at home? Yes. Workouts between sessions are a requirement for all clients who work with Senshi Training and having the proper equipment to do so will assist with your success.
16.What equipment do I need to workout at home with Senshi Training? Nothing expensive but the essentials are: a few pairs of dumbbells or kettlebells, mini bands, superbands, resistance bands, suspension trainer, and a bench. You do not need all of these but having a few of these is incredibly helpful to your personal programming.
17.Do I HAVE to take photos every month? YES! This is a requirement for programming properly for each client. Photos are NOT shared unless the client gives permission. Every transformation you see on our site has given us permission to share their journey and progress. We cannot program properly for you monthly if we cannot see how the progress is going.
18.How do I receive my workouts? We use an app called TRAINERIZE that allows video guidance, personalization, progress tracking and even communication with your trainer and other clients working with Senshi Training.
19.Do I have to use the app? Yes, it is a requirement to use the app. This is how we communicate, track ALL progress from photos to weight lifted and new PRs, as well as see your personalized routine with video guidance. The app also allows us to manage your nutrition through it.
20.Do you work with athletes? Yes! But not very often. We have coached soccer and bodybuilding in the past for many years so we can work with all types of athletes. All ages of athletes are welcome to work with us.
